Pocket ECG Device - KardiaMobile 6l |
Pocket ECG is a portable ECG monitoring device that gives a complete diagnosis of arrhythmia. It provides full disclosure of ECG signal, complete data analysis as well as comprehensive reporting, and allows for heart monitoring at home.
The personal heart monitoring system makes a more precise diagnosis possible, even in some cases that result undetected with offline monitoring like ECG Holter and multi-week ECG patch devices.
But now, the technology is even more advanced with the arrival of Pocket ECG devices with no hassles of wires. It gives out a full diagnosis of your heart anywhere, anytime.
AliveCor’s KardiaMobile and KardiaMobile 6L are easy to use portable pocket devices that allow you to check your heart health on the go. You can use them by just putting your fingers on the sensors, no wires, patches, or gels are required.
For using KardiaMobile, you need to download the Kardia application. After downloading the Kardia app and creating your account, the next thing to do is connect your KardiaMobile and start recording.
The app does not take up much space and is easy to use. You pair KardiaMobile6L with your phone via Bluetooth, open the app, and follow the short and straightforward instructions.
Follow the easy steps to use KardiaMobile device:
Place a smartphone/ tablet on the table in front of you.
Place the KardiaMobile on the table directly underneath your smartphone or tablet device, while ensuring that the 'A' logo is faced upwards.
When recording, your phone can either be placed vertically or horizontally. Either of the two will not affect the quality of the recording.
Sit back in a relaxed position.
Relax the arms and hands to reduce muscle noise.
Place your index and middle finger of your right hand on the right electrode, then do the same with your left hand on the left electrode.
The KardiaMobile illustration on the screen will turn green to indicate that a stable connection has been made, then the recording will begin counting down from 30 to 0 seconds.
The signal strength of your recording will show on the right of the screen, and your real-time BPM will show on the left.
Make sure to keep your fingers lightly pressed on the metal electrodes through the entire duration of the recording. If contact with the electrodes is broken, the recording will start over.
Once the recording is complete, the Kardia app will instantly analyze the recording, and provide you with an FDA cleared Kardia determination.
